Completed a site assessment was conducted in a phased approach and with the understanding that considering historical use of the Site as a salvage yard since the early 1990’s, that for the most part, impacts to environmental media, were the result of releases of petroleum type waste, i.e. (diesel, gasoline, used oil, and antifreeze). The assessment actions concentrated on key areas across the Site where engine dismantling and crushing operations were conducted and where gasoline, diesel and used oil were stored once these products were removed from vehicles prior to crushing operations.
